In my 30’s, I decided to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. On a lark, a friend asked me to help with flowers for a wedding and the rest has been a lovely blurr and TaDa! I’m a Floral Designer. I spent the majority of my career as a partner in a family-owned, 150-year-old business, Geny’s Wholesale, in Nashville, TN.

I was blessed to learn the floral industry from bottom to top and I love all of it. Processing flowers, cleaning out coolers, stripping roses… just a few of my favorite things. Most of all I love selecting color schemes of beautiful florals and turning them in to works of art for weddings and events for just about every venue in Nashville. What I consider my greatest privilege of all was being the in-house florist for the Country Music Hall of Fame for five years and providing florals for the Medallion Ceremony.

Flowers are a lot of work and so worth the effort.

With me, everything matters… where they are bought, how they are shipped, processed, stored, handled in designing and delivery. All of these things make a world of difference in the final product. All of this together shows the beauty of nature, even if it’s fleeting. My dedication to these processes and my appreciation of the beauty of flowers becomes evident in the floral designs that I deliver.
